Pear Ginger Colonial Shrub Concentrate - Enjoy this delicate ginger kissed shrub mixed with water or sparkling water. Also delicious when mixed with hot water for a mulled pear cider.
Mix 3-4 oz shrub with 16-20 oz water. You can also mix with sparkling water, ginger ale, or your favorite spirits for an easy cocktail.
These Colonial Shrubs are made by our friends at Adam's Heirlooms with Fruit, Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, and Raw Organic Sugar. They are made as a concentrate that you dilute into water or another beverage of choice. This recipe is inspired by an 1832 recipe, though shrubs date back to the late 1600's.
A pint jar of concentrate will make nearly a gallon of refreshing Shrub.
